Locally Grown History Pods

We've divided the overall Locally Grown History region into six sub-regions, or "pods".  Each of the pods will have a designated team leader who will recruit and develop the LGH Pod Team, comprised of representatives of key historical and agricultural organizations. The team will identify potential LGH sites within the pod, contact them, and urge them to get involved in LGH.  Each sub-region will have its own highlighted weekend of special events; the pod team will gather and develop ideas for the special weekend.  The team will also promote public participation in LGH through outreach to libraries, businesses, cultural institutions, and schools.
